His Honour Rich McIntyre
Richard (Rich) McIntyre was born and raised in Regina, where he attended Campbell Collegiate and Luther College High School and earned a Bachelor of Administration degree from the University of Regina.
Upon convocation, Mr. McIntyre joined his father and two brothers in the family business, Kemsol Products Ltd. Kemsol was a province-wide janitorial supply and chemical manufacturing business established by Rich’s grandfather in 1934. It was expanded by his father and uncle and was a successful family business for over 80 years. The business was sold in 2018 and Mr. McIntyre retired as the president in 2020. He remains active managing family-owned commercial buildings in Regina and Saskatoon.
Mr. McIntyre is a long-time season ticket holder of both the Saskatchewan Roughriders and the Regina Pats. He is also a lifelong recreational hockey player and has participated in many other sports throughout his life. Rich enjoys spending time with his family and friends and boating on Long Lake in the summer near the family cottage at Buena Vista.
His Honour and Lieutenant Governor Bernadette McIntyre celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary in October 2024 and are proud parents of Lisa and Shawn.

Après la collation des grades, M. McIntyre s’est joint à l’entreprise familiale, Kemsol Products Ltd., où travaillaient déjà son père et ses deux frères. L’entreprise était un fabricant de fournitures d’entretien et de nettoyage et de produits chimiques à l’échelle de la province que le grand-père de M. McIntyre avait fondée en 1934. L’entreprise a grandi sous la direction du père et de l’oncle de M. McIntyre et a été une entreprise familiale prospère pendant plus de 80 ans. L’entreprise a été vendue en 2018 et M. McIntyre a pris sa retraite de la présidence en 2020. Il demeure actif en gérant les édifices commerciaux de sa famille à Regina et à Saskatoon.
M. McIntyre est un abonné de saison de longue date des Roughriders de la Saskatchewan et des Pats de Regina. Il est également un joueur de hockey récréatif depuis toujours et a participé à plusieurs autres sports au cours de sa vie. M. McIntyre aime passer du temps avec sa famille et ses amis et la navigation de plaisance sur le lac Long en été près du chalet familial à Buena Vista.
Son Honneur et la lieutenante-gouverneure Bernadette McIntyre ont célébré leur 40e anniversaire de mariage en octobre 2024 et sont les fiers parents de Lisa et Shawn.
